Product comparisons
CBD price per milligram: a fair value comparison
Calculate cost per 100mg, then balance numerical value against ingredients, evidence and label clarity.

Key takeaways
- Compare the measurable label facts before interpreting marketing language.
- Use current manufacturer information and official UK sources.
- The FSA advises healthy adults to limit CBD from food to 10mg a day.
- This guide does not diagnose, prescribe or recommend CBD for symptoms.
The useful formula
Divide price by total CBD, then multiply by 100. A £30 bottle containing 1,000mg costs £3 per 100mg. This removes much of the distortion caused by different bottle and pack sizes.
What the number cannot tell you
Unit price does not measure documentation quality, formulation, flavour, convenience or suitability. It is one review criterion, not an overall verdict.
- Check whether a lab report matches the batch
- Compare like-for-like formats
- Record the price-check date
- Do not treat a sale price as permanent
Use the calculator
The thCBDx strength calculator shows cost per 100mg alongside concentration so neither the biggest bottle nor the biggest milligram number automatically wins.
