Is CBD vape juice legal in the UK?

The Home Office states that pure CBD, as an isolated substance, is not controlled. It also warns that consumer CBD products can contain controlled cannabinoids such as THC and THC-V. A preparation containing a controlled drug can itself be controlled unless it meets an applicable exemption or lawful route.

That is why a product name, hemp origin or retailer assurance cannot settle legality on its own. Businesses handling cannabinoid materials are responsible for appropriate legal advice and testing.

The 0.2% figure is widely repeated in retail copy, but it is not a general consumer rule making any finished CBD vape product lawful. UK controls consider the substance, product form, controlled-cannabinoid content and any relevant exemption. thCBDx therefore does not use 0.2% as a compliance badge.

The UK ban on selling or supplying single-use vapes has applied since 1 June 2025 and covers products regardless of whether they contain nicotine. A product must satisfy the current reusable definition; simply adding a charging port does not necessarily make a sealed device reusable.

A consumer cannot replace regulatory testing, but can look for responsible-business details, intended-use wording, current cannabinoid evidence, batch identity, ingredients and age controls. thCBDx can report whether those facts are visible; it cannot issue legal approval.
