What makes an oil comparison useful

Oil strength needs two figures: total CBD and bottle volume. Dividing milligrams by millilitres creates a consistent concentration figure, while price per 100mg provides a limited unit-value check. Neither calculation is a dose or a prediction of effect.

We also check carrier oil, flavour, extract wording, variant choice and the availability of product-specific evidence. A larger milligram total cannot compensate for an unclear label or evidence that belongs to another batch.

Read strength, value and regulatory status correctly

Total CBD describes the whole bottle; mg/ml describes concentration; price per 100mg is only a unit-price calculation. Compare one exact bottle at a time: total CBD, bottle volume, calculated mg/ml, current price, price per 100mg and the quality of the supporting evidence. None of those figures predicts a personal effect.

Does a higher CBD total mean a stronger oil?

Not necessarily. Total CBD describes the whole bottle. Concentration in mg/ml accounts for bottle volume and is the more consistent strength comparison.

Does a thCBDx score include affiliate commission?

No. Editorial scores never receive commission points. The exact-product table is ordered by score, evidence grade, review protocol and then unit value. A separate partner-linked catalogue is ordered commercially and labelled as advertising.

Does appearing on the FSA public list mean a CBD oil is approved?
